“Uga’s friends” necklace

One bead for each person you care about.

Threading is slow, fiddly work for small fingers. Saying a name with every bead turns that effort into something warm.

Step by step

  1. Choose the beads

One for each friend. Count them out loud.

  2. Name them

Say who each bead is for as you pick it up.

  3. Thread them

Slowly. The cord goes in, the bead comes down.

  4. Tie the ends

    A grown-up ties a good double knot.

Uga’s tip

You can add a bead whenever you make a new friend. The necklace grows with you.
